CRAZY DRIVING(a bit of nonsense from the grandfather/longcase/tallcase clocks man  (November 2001)
He imagined how it would be.
Calmly, and with no signs of
emotion, save for the occasional
sigh, she would proceed to undress,
slowly and methodically, her every
movement designed to tease and
arouse desire,
and when naked, she would be superb.
Long black hair would flow down and
gently caress her back. Breasts and
belly would be divinely curved.
The round of her thighs would be
soft and appealing and call to him.
Passion would call to them both.
He would walk towards her, stunned
by her grace and beauty feeling a
longing he had never felt before.
His groin would ache, but soon she
would be his and then it would be over.
He would lay down beside her, this time
before the old woman in the black coat
and gloves came between them.

And he remembered the sound of friends
still celebrating as he and his new
wife slipped away from the reception,
And he remembered the taste of champagne
and the power in his car engine as it
roared into life,
And he remembered the old woman,
And the screeching of brakes,
And the sound of flesh against glass,
And the sight of blood weaving patterns
down Jenny's sweet elfin face.

He shivered and snuggled up to his Teddy
waiting for Father Christmas to make
everything alright.
