Resentful that somebody could create
something new?
Something beyond normal comprehension
and intelligence.
I am not afraid of losing my public,
I have faith in them.
Neither do I fear critical comment.
It's brilliant, I know it's brilliant,
didn't I write it?
Didn't I slog my guts out though the night?
Perhaps I'm a genius.

I don't mind the sarcasm or the cynics.
