The Princess and The Fool(and the grandfather/longcase/tallcase clocks)  (January 2005)
Once upon a time,a long while ago, up and down the stairs, out the back door, twice around the block, along the street and past the house of Short Bob,the oned eyed goblin with the wooden leg and his live in partner,Noel the giant dwarf, over the seas and the mountains and beyond the stars, there was a beautiful kingdom.
In the beautiful kingdom was a beautiful castle, and in the beautiful castle lived a King and Queen and their daughter,The Princess Lovely.
The Princess lovely was nineteen years old and had many hormones raging this way and that throughout her body. She longed to be loved, but because she was a Princess, this pleasure was forbidden her. She was being saved for a handsome prince.
Sad to relate, one day,the old Court Fool died and the king had to appoint a new Fool. This new Fool was the most stupid man in the whole Kingdom, but he was tall and good looking, and made in a way to please the ladies. The Princess lovely was bewitched by this stupid but handsome man and lusted after him. Finally, she could stand it no longer and one night, as the Fool was preparing for bed,The Princess dashed into his room, threw herself on top of him and began to have her wicked way.
Unfortunately for the Princess, the King employed a lady in waiting as a court spy,and she saw the Princess go into the Fool's room, and watched through a hole in the wall, as she had her way with him. The next day,she reported to the King what she had seen.
The king was perplexed.
"Lady in waiting" he said,"You have been my most loyal and faithful servant for many years and I have always trusted everything you have told me.However on this occasion,I find that which you are saying to be unbelievable,in fact,
It's Virgin' On the Ridiculous!!"
