Gonglechinks(strong buyers of grandfather/longcase/tallcase clocks)  (September 2004)
By now,I expect that many of you will have seen The Gonglechinks picture on my website. Then again,I expect that many of you will not have seen it.The Gonglechinks are small but wonderful creatures who love to help people and who know a lot about many things.Perhaps this little poem will give you an idea.
"If you have a block in your kitchen sink,
send for your local Gonglechink.
If something is missing and you can't find the link,
send for your local Gonglechink
If you have a doll that just won't wink,
send for your local Gonglechink.
If there's a smell in the toilet and you can't
find the stink,
send for your local Gonglechink.
If you're feeling blue, and you'd rather be pink
send for your local Gonglechink.
He's everywhere, but you'll miss him if you blink!
That darned elusive Gonglechink".
Gonglechinks like to work under cover and are often in disguise.Without knowing it,you probably have one living in your street.eg.Good old Bob,Good old Mike,
Good old Tom,Good old Jack,Good old Ted,and of course Pongo Pongo Rockin' Rupert. Well, even a Gonglechink likes to be different occasionally.
