your hand in mine we strolled the way lovers do.
You picked Summer Roses as we passed along the way,
and I was so in love with you.
Isn't it funny how nothing was said?
Yet we did communicate.
When the cool evening wind blew, and you sheltered in my arms,enchantment filled the air.
And our hearts entwined as one, and said what words could never say,
and made the perfect ending, to a perfect day.
