NOVEMBER HILL(climbed up to find some grandfather/longcase/tallcase clocks)  (April 2002)
The day we took our walk up November hill
is the day I remember now,
you asked me if I loved you, and I said I didn't know
I wasn't certain somehow.
But oh how I wish I could fall onto the green fields of yesterday
and be there with you,
and lie quiet and still,
and avoid our walk up November hill.

I looked into your eyes, I could see I'd hurt you so,
I knew that soon you'd go.
A teardrop brushed your cheek, but I just turned away,
not knowing what to say.
But oh how I wish I could fall onto the green fields of yesterday,
and be there with you,
and lie quiet and still
and avoid our walk up November hill.
