flickered, and slowly died, like the light in my life,
the light which once burned so brightly,
would no longer cast shadows on the walls of eternity.
And again I am left to wander alone, to
scale pyramids of pain with a bruised and bewildered heart,
to picture your face, now merely a memorial to nights of sweet
harmony and to console myself only with the hope that my gentle
creator will take pity on and comfort my aching soul.
