the wavering corn growing graceful and wild.
Thinking of friends,of childrens games
the joyful feeling of childhood names.
The old battered barn where we played in the loft,
Jennifer Andrews so cuddly and soft.
Cowboys,commandos,kiss and then run,
all of the gang dashing round in the sun.
Those were the days,not a care in the world,
days we all knew,before the future unfurled.
And now I've grown up with kids of my own,
who play in the sun,the future unknown.
I wonder in time, if they'll walk in the wild,
and think back to the days they knew as a child.
GRANDFATHER CLOCKS IS ME!
